Turns out I'm a lot more outdoorsy than I thought. Went on a hike with some friends and had a good time. Its nice to hang out with people outside of a bar for once (Even if you bring the bar with you!). I'm hoping to go on a lot more hike this year and I'm only a tiny bit motivated by the fact that I want to justify purchasing cute hiking boots.
Photo Diary: Apple Picking at Rose Hill Farms
Despite all of the field trips to cider mills and apple orchards back home in Michigan I never went apple picking as an adult until I moved to New York. Now I've gone many times, including last October with a friend and his family. I never manage to make a pie or even eat all of the apples I end up buying but I DEFINITELY go to town on those apple cider donuts. (Waaaay latergram post, oops).
